Account & Subscription

Registration, getting and updating your subscription link, switching devices and account recovery.

Do I need an email address to register?
No. Registering with VPNNK only requires a username and password — once submitted, you can log in to the user panel right away, with no verification email to wait for and no expiring links. Your username and password are the only credentials for the account, so keep them safe. When you switch devices, log in to the panel with the same username and password to retrieve your subscription again.
Where do I get my subscription link, and how do I import it into a client?
After logging in to the user panel, you can copy the subscription link and see import instructions in the Account Overview or Download Client section; the link looks like https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. On desktop you usually paste the link and update the subscription; on mobile you can tap One-Tap Import to open the matching client. The token in the link acts as an access credential, so don't share it publicly.
The subscription link updated but the node list hasn't changed — what should I do?
First trigger Update Subscription manually in the client, then fully quit and restart it. Some clients cache the previous node list, so refreshing without restarting won't take effect immediately. If nothing changes, go back to the panel and copy the link again, and make sure no line break or space got pasted in with it. You can compare the full list of regions and routes on the Routes page.
Do I need to buy again when I switch devices?
No. There's no limit on simultaneous devices, and the same subscription can be imported to a new device and keep working. Once the new device is set up, we suggest logging out of the client on old devices you no longer use, so you don't lose track of which devices are still connected.
What if I forget my password?
The panel login page has a recovery entry point. Because registration doesn't require an email address, recovery is based on your registered username. If the self-service option doesn't work, submit a ticket in the panel's ticket section with your registered username and approximate registration date, and support staff will help verify it.
Can I share my subscription with friends?
We don't recommend it. The subscription link itself is an account credential, so sharing it is like handing over your account; once the link spreads, data usage and concurrency are no longer under your control. If several people need access, each should register their own account.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Connected but pages won't load, apps that don't go through the proxy, failed updates and mobile disconnects.

The client shows connected, but web pages won't open — what should I do?
First check the client mode: in rule mode, only traffic that matches the rules goes through the proxy, and everything else uses your local network. If the target site isn't covered by the rules, temporarily switch to global mode to test. Next, check that your system time is accurate — a large offset will cause the encrypted handshake to fail. Then try another route. If all three steps fail, submit a ticket with the client name, route name and a screenshot of the error.
Why won't a certain app go through the proxy?
The usual cause is that the routing rules don't cover the domain or IP range the app uses. Rule mode decides by domain and IP, so an app with its own direct-connection logic or an unusual port can slip through. There are two fixes: add the app's domain to your custom rules in the client, or switch that device to global mode.
It says the subscription has expired or it won't update — what should I do?
First check the plan status and remaining data in the panel. Monthly plan data resets every month on your start date, and if this month's data is used up, subscription updates pause; data packs simply run until they're used up. Once the status looks normal, copy the subscription link again and re-import it — that resolves most update failures.
It connects on my computer but not on my phone — what should I do?
This usually comes down to mobile power-saving policies and permission limits: once the app is frozen in the background, the connection drops after a while. Add the client to the battery optimization whitelist and allow background activity; on iOS, allow the configuration profile to be added on first connection. Also check that your current network isn't applying extra restrictions — corporate and campus networks often do — and try switching to another network to test.
Speed keeps fluctuating after connecting — is the route broken?
Not necessarily. Cross-border links are affected by three things: congestion at the international gateway, the quality of your local broadband and Wi-Fi, and the region the target site is in — so some fluctuation is normal. To judge whether a route itself is usable, test the same route several times in a row, then compare it with another route in the same region. If only one route stays slow, just switch to another route in that region.

Speed & Routes

Peak-hour slowdowns, differences between route types, 4K playback and multiple devices at once.

How do I deal with peak-hour slowdowns?
Peak hours run roughly 20:00 to 23:00, when the international gateway is most congested. Switch first to an IEPL dedicated route — dedicated routes use an independent channel and are less affected by congestion on public gateways. Next, move to a nearby region, for example from the US to Japan or Singapore, for a shorter physical distance and fewer hops. At the same time, turn off any devices on the same network that are downloading or running cloud backups.
What's the difference between IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes?
Direct routes connect straight from your location to the exit node — the shortest path, best for nearby destinations and latency-sensitive use. Relay routes connect to an entry node first and then forward out; entry quality is stable, which suits intercontinental access. IEPL dedicated routes use an independent channel and don't compete for public gateway capacity, making them a good fit for peak hours and long, stable sessions. All three types are labeled in the client, so pick whichever suits what you're doing.
Which route should I pick for 4K video?
Go with an IEPL dedicated route, or a route in the region where the streaming service is based. Video playback is more sensitive to sustained bandwidth than to latency, and dedicated routes hold up better at peak hours. If the picture keeps dropping resolution, switch to another route in the same region first, then check whether your local Wi-Fi is saturated. VPNNK covers 120+ countries / 220+ routes, with several options in every major streaming region.
Why is the speed difference between regions so large?
Three variables matter most: the signal round-trip time set by physical distance, whether the international gateway along the way is congested, and the route type. The same region can also have several routes of differing quality, so when choosing, look at the route type label first, then whether it's nearby, and only then test them one by one.
Simultaneous devices are unlimited — does that mean speed is unaffected however many I use?
Unlimited devices is a policy on device count, not a bandwidth promise. If the same account runs heavy traffic on several devices at once — two downloads, for example — they share the bandwidth of a single route and the experience will suffer. Phone, computer and tablet online at the same time is fine for everyday use; for heavy loads, spread your devices across different routes.

Billing & Refunds

Plan prices, data reset rules, payment methods, refunds and upgrade price differences.

What plans are there, and what do they cost?
Monthly plans come in three tiers: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB, with data resetting every month on your start date. There are also three data packs: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB, which run until used up and never expire. See the pricing page for the full comparison.
How is data counted and reset?
Monthly plans reset every month on your start date — start on the 5th, for example, and from then on the 5th brings you back to full quota. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Data packs don't take part in the monthly reset: you're charged only for what you use until the pack runs out, and leftover data never expires.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are all available — just choose the one you want when you order in the panel.
How do I request a refund?
For orders that qualify, submit a refund ticket in the panel's ticket section with your order number and reason, and the process starts there. VPNNK offers a 7-day money-back guarantee, and progress is answered in the ticket.
I want to upgrade mid-cycle — how is the price difference worked out?
When you upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days, so you don't need to buy a whole new plan. Do it in the plan section of the panel; the new data quota takes effect immediately.
Do data packs expire?
No. Data packs run until used up and never expire, which suits irregular usage or concentrating use in a particular month. You can check the balance of any data pack you've bought in the panel.
